The Alcove accepts submissions of poetry, prose, and visual art from young people worldwide. We recommend looking at our past issues to understand the range of topics and styles that we publish. Please note that we primarily seek submissions exploring relevant social issues and their impact on present-day society. Submissions could range from personal stories that highlight first-hand experiences with social justice movements to opinion pieces regarding a pressing issue of equity.
The Alcove strives for a raised critical consciousness of movements across the globe that will inspire change and enthusiasm. This platform allows us to spotlight the thoughts and opinions of young people on subjects that have left a big impression on them.

We encourage any form of art to be submitted, including but not limited to photography, painting, digital art, etc.
